How does pricing work?
Each order form shows a typical price range as you answer. That range is for planning. Greg reviews your request and sends an exact quote with your lead time in writing.
What do I pay, and when?
Every order pays in three stages. Woodwork: 25% design fee, 25% production start, 50% final balance. Challenge coins: a $75 design fee, then 50% of the quote minus that fee, then the final 50%. Apparel: a $50 design fee, then 50% of the quote minus that fee, then the final 50%.
Is the design fee refundable?
No. The design fee pays for design work Greg performs for you, and it counts toward your order total. The production start payment is also non-refundable once materials are ordered.
When is the final balance due?
After you approve photos of the first finished piece, and before delivery. Nothing ships until it's paid.
How many design changes are included?
Two rounds of changes are included with every design. Extra rounds are billed at the shop's hourly rate, and Greg tells you before any extra charge.
How long does an order take?
It depends on the piece, the quantity and the season. Your quote states the production time in writing. Put your need-by date on the form so Greg can plan backward from it.
What wood do you use?
Walnut, hard maple and curly maple. No big-box lumber. If you're not sure, choose “Greg's choice” and he'll pick the wood that suits the design.
Can you use our unit or branch insignia?
Yes, when you're authorized to use it. You confirm that on the order form, and Greg reviews every insignia before production.
Who owns the design?
Primal keeps the rights to the design until the order is paid in full. Once paid, you have the right to use your design.
Do you charge sales tax?
Texas sales tax is added where it applies and shows on your quote.
How do I get my order?
Your quote covers delivery: local pickup in San Antonio or shipping to you.

Payment links arrive with your quote. Stages 1 and 2 are non-refundable because they pay for work and materials already committed to your order.
